প্রথম স্তবকের বঙ্গানুবাদ
আমাকে আবার সেইসব সমুদ্রের কাছে যেতেই হবে,
সেই নির্জন সমুদ্র আর আকাশের কাছে,
আর সেজন্য আমার শুধু যা চাই তা হল
একটা উঁচু জাহাজ আর একটি নক্ষত্র,
জাহাজটাকে পথ দেখিয়ে নিয়ে যাবার জন
আর চাই ঢাকার আঘাত, বাতাসের গান,
সাদা পালের কম্পন আর সমুদ্রের মুখের 'পর
ধূসর কুয়াশা, আর এক ধূসর ভোরের আগমন।
দ্বিতীয় স্তবকের বঙ্গানুবাদ :
আমাকে আবার সেইসব সমুদ্রের কাছে যেতেই হবে।
কারণ ফুটন্ত জোয়ারের ডাক এই জন্য সুস্পট
যে সেই ডাককে অস্বীকার করাই যাবে না;
আর তার জন্য আমি যা চাই তা হল।
উড়ন্ত সাদা মেঘেদের সঙ্গে এক কাড়ো দিন।।
আর ছিটকে ওঠা জলকা প্রস্ফুটিত ফেনা
আর প্রদসী গাংচিলেদের না ।
তৃতীয় স্তবকের বঙ্গানুবাদ :
আমাকে আবার সেইসব সমুদ্রের কাছে যেতেই হবে,
ভবঘুরে সেই জিসি জীবনের কাছাকাছি,
সমুদ্র চিলেদের পথের দিকে আর তিমিদের পথের দিকে
যেখানে বাতাস হয়ে থাকবে ধারালো ছুরির মতো;
আর আমি শুধু যা চাই তা হল
হাস্যরত সহযাত্রী নাবিকের মুখে এক মজার কাহিনি,
আর একটা শান্ত ঘুম ও একটা মিঠে স্বপ্ন
আমার সুদীর্ঘ সমুদ্রযাত্রা শেষ হবার পর।

Egyptian kings are called Pharaohs. Tutankhamun, an Egyptian king ascended the throne at the age of ten. His father Akhenaten was also a Pharaoh. Tutankhamun built and rebuilt many temples and monuments around Thebes and Karnak. He was ill for a long period in his life. Tutankhamun had various physical disabilities and thus required the support of a cane to walk. A Pharaoh's body preserved after death is called mummy. BURGLARY IN A FLAT IN SOUTH KOLKATA
Kolkata, 18th September: Precisely at 2 a.m. yesterday, a flat near Golpark was robbed. The flat where the burglary took place is just beside Ram Krishna Mission. A couple, Mr. And Mrs. Sen, and their six-year old son, Akash stay in the flat on the third floor. The burglars broke into the house through the living-room window and so nothing has been captured in the CCTV cameras. The couple woke up hearing voices. According to them, there were six robbers and they were all wearing masks. Two of them put the family at gun-point while the others looted everything they could. They took away Rs 18,000/- cash and jewellery worth Rs 2 lakhs. They left the house almost after an hour leaving the family members tied up tightly in their bed-room. In the early morning they freed themselves and informed the police. The police are investigating the matter and hope the robbers will be arrested soon.
